Cara-Julie Kather
Writer, Researcher, Teacher & Editor
Sexual Violence Prevention, Feminist Theory and Neurodiversity Studies
I explore matters of systemic violence in both academic and non-academic ways: structures of violence, forms of violence, survival of violence.
I consult, teach, edit, write, and research on these matters and specialize on sexual violence - its systems, prevention, and infrastructures of survival and support.
My writing and research are grounded in decolonial-feminist epistemologis and explore matters of patriarchal violence, neurodiverse expression and mathematical knowledge-making. My latest extra-academic book Narrative Gewalt explored a feminist and auto-theoretical perspective on stalking and my latest academic book The Epistemic Violence of Mathematics explores decolonial-feminist lenses on mathematical knowledge-making.
